What you will need
- Passport valid 6 months beyond travel, with at least 2 blank pages
- 2 photographs, 35x45mm, white background
- Bank statement for the last 6 months
- Bank solvency certificate
- Trade licence, NOC or student ID depending on occupation
- Confirmed return air ticket booking
- Confirmed hotel booking
Common questions
Do I need to show the flight ticket before the visa?
A confirmed booking is required, not a paid ticket. We issue a held booking for the application and only issue the ticket once the visa is granted.
How much bank balance is expected?
The embassy does not publish a figure. In practice a balance that clearly covers the trip and the stay reads better than a large deposit made days before applying, which raises questions rather than answering them.
