Sajek Valley is the highest road-accessible point in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, and the reason people go is the cloud: for much of the year the valley floor below the resorts fills in overnight and clears through the morning. Access is by jeep from Khagrachhari in a scheduled convoy, which is the part of the trip that most needs arranging properly.
