Cox's Bazar is the country's best-known holiday town and the easiest domestic trip to sell: a long, flat, unbroken beach, a short flight or an overnight coach from Dhaka, and hotels at every price. Inani and Himchari are the usual day trips, and Saint Martin's Island runs as a add-on between November and March when the sea is calm enough to cross.
